Angels for Athletes is a non-profit corporation founded in 2012 to help improve the lives of children by encouraging and supporting their active participation in recreational and competitive sports. We envision a world of happy, healthy, and self-confident kids, and we believe that childhood participation in sports of all kinds helps to provide these invaluable lifelong benefits. Join our efforts today and help us bring our vision to life!
Special Olympics
Through the power of sports, people with intellectual disabilitiesdiscover new strengths and abilities, skills and success. Our athletes find joy, confidence and fulfillment -- on the playing field and in life. They also inspire people in their communities and elsewhere to open their hearts to a wider world of human talents and potential. Here's a slideshow showing the full spectrum of our activities.
About
Team Reach is a Triathlon team that recognizes how we as athletes have to Reach Beyond ourselves to achieve our Triathlon goals. In addition we also try to Reach Beyond ourselves in our daily lives and serve others. Combining the two we are raising money for three local nonprofits (one for each discipline). This year Rodney Friend and Jonathan Chapman will be doing their first Ironman at Ironman Florida November the 7th. We hope to use this opportunity to raise awareness and money for these worthy organizations. Please consider donating knowing that 100% of what you give goes to the three charities.
